Mechanical Project Manager
True are partnering with a growing specialist M&E contractor delivering turnkey mechanical and electrical installations across healthcare and commercial environments. With an established reputation for delivering plant upgrades and specialist installations within hospitals and critical environments, the business has grown steadily and are now looking for Mechanical Project Manager to join the team.
As Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll oversee the delivery of multiple mechanical projects across London and the Southeast, particularly within healthcare environments. Projects typically range from £50K–£500K, with occasional schemes up to £1–£2M, often involving plant upgrades, HVAC installations and specialist medical equipment infrastructure.
This is a client-facing role managing day-to-day delivery on site, coordinating subcontractors and liaising with clients, while working closely with the company’s in-house design and estimating teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
Mechanical Project Manager Package:
* £75,000 Salary (DOE) + £6,000 Car Allowance
* Hybrid working – In the office 1 day every week or fortnight

What We’re Looking For:
* Mechanical Project Management experience within building services
* Good technical knowledge of HVAC systems, plant upgrades and mechanical installations
* Experience delivering healthcare or commercial projects
* Comfortable managing multiple smaller projects simultaneously
* Strong client-facing communication and organisational skills
* Based within commuting distance of London / Essex / Southeast projects
The Role:
* Manage turnkey mechanical installations across healthcare and commercial projects
* Oversee systems including AHUs, air conditioning, chillers, plant and BMS upgrades
* Coordinate subcontractors and site activities across multiple live projects
* Act as the primary client-facing contact throughout project delivery
* Attend sites regularly to monitor progress and quality
* Work closely with in-house design and estimating teams to support delivery
