A major national civil engineering contractor specialising in complex infrastructure and environmental projects is looking to appoint a Project Manager for a key tidal infrastructure scheme in Hayle, Cornwall.

The company delivers major works across the UK including flood defence systems, pumping stations, dams and water infrastructure. With a new long-term framework about to commence, they are expanding their delivery team in the South West.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the successful delivery of a tidal gate and flood defence project.

Overseeing subcontractors and specialist delivery teams.

*

Managing programme, budget and project performance.

*

Coordinating civils works alongside MEICA elements.

*

Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.

Requirements

*

Strong background in civil engineering project management.

*

Experience working on flood defence, environmental or water sector projects.

*

Previous exposure to MEICA integration on civils projects.

*

Strong subcontractor management experience.
