Project Lead – Data Centre Construction – Finland
€110,000 – €130,000 + Accommodation + Rotation + Travel + €1,300 Net Living Allowance Per Month
Location: Kirkkonummi / Espoo, Finland
Employment: Full-Time

A leading data centre delivery contractor is seeking an experienced Project Lead to oversee the successful delivery of a large-scale hyperscale data centre project in Finland.

Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Lead will take overall responsibility for managing project cost, schedule, subcontractors, and delivery teams to ensure the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across complex mission-critical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall project delivery from construction through to handover
• Manage project budget, cost control, and commercial performance
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and consultants across the project
• Monitor and manage project schedule and key milestone activities
• Review construction proposals, scopes of work, and subcontractor pricing
• Lead project coordination meetings with clients and internal teams
• Analyse cost drivers and provide financial reporting to senior management
• Manage procurement planning and long-lead equipment delivery
• Review subcontractor estimates and validate project cost forecasts
• Support engineering and design teams during design-build changes
• Monitor equipment procurement and delivery schedules
• Coordinate project planning and scheduling reviews
• Review and approve payment applications and invoices
• Manage project close-out and client handover documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in project leadership or senior construction management roles
• Experience delivering large-scale construction or mission critical projects
• Strong knowledge of project cost control and commercial management
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams
• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with project management and reporting tools
