Planning Manager – Data Centre Construction – Finland
€120,000 – €130,000 + Accommodation + Rotation + Travel + €1,300 Net Living Allowance Per Month

A leading data centre delivery contractor is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join a major hyperscale data centre project based in Finland.

Reporting to the Regional Planning Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining detailed construction programmes while supporting project teams with schedule analysis, progress monitoring, and risk mitigation.

This role will play a critical part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with project milestones across all phases of delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed master construction programmes
• Manage project scheduling and project controls procedures
• Monitor project progress and identify potential schedule risks
• Produce progress reports and planning updates for senior management
• Coordinate planning activities across pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases
• Track project performance and milestone achievements
• Analyse schedule variances and recommend corrective actions
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project teams on planning matters
• Represent the planning function in project coordination meetings
• Support planning strategy and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
• Minimum 6+ years’ experience in construction planning
• Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and project scheduling
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject
• Understanding of BIM and digital construction workflows desirable
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Ability to work within fast-paced, programme-driven environments
