Our client, a well-established multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their Building Services team in Oxford. The business has a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality engineering and design solutions across a range of sectors including commercial, education, defence and residential.

Volunteering leaveGraduate Mechanical Engineer Job Responsibilities
Assist with the design and development of mechanical building services systems including heating, ventilation and cooling
Support senior engineers in producing technical drawings, specifications and reports
Assist with mechanical plant and equipment selection and plantroom layouts
Contribute to the design and coordination of pipework and ductwork distribution systems
Attend site visits, surveys and inspections of existing mechanical installations
Support monitoring of site works to ensure installations meet design specifications
Assist with reviewing contractor tenders and preparing tender reports
Work with design software including AutoCAD and Revit
Assist in developing sustainable and low carbon mechanical design strategies
Liaise with clients, contractors and other design disciplines where requiredGraduate Mechanical Engineer Job Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
Knowledge or exposure to building services design principles
Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit
Understanding of UK building regulations and industry standards
Strong interest in sustainable and low carbon building design
