Senior Site Manager – Residential (Timber Frame)

💰 £75,000 – £85,000 + Package

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a well-established residential developer delivering high-quality housing schemes across Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.

This role requires a true Senior Site Manager who has a strong track record delivering traditional build and timber frame residential developments from groundworks through to completion.

You will take full responsibility for managing site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day running of a residential development
Oversee timber frame installation and structural phases of construction
Manage subcontractors, site teams, and logistics on site
Ensure health & safety compliance and maintain high standards across the project
Drive programme delivery and maintain build schedules
Maintain excellent quality control and snagging processes
Liaise with technical teams, project managers, and senior leadership

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on residential developments
Strong experience delivering timber frame housing schemes
Track record managing projects from groundworks through to handover
Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
Excellent knowledge of NHBC standards and residential build processes
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid required
