A specialist contractor delivering large-scale façade and cladding remediation projects is looking to add an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to their North West team.

This role would suit someone with 1–3 years’ commercial experience who wants to build their career in a supportive environment. You’ll work across both site and office, gaining exposure to the full commercial lifecycle while supporting senior commercial staff on live projects.

While façade or cladding experience would be beneficial, it isn’t essential — the key requirement is someone organised, proactive, and eager to develop their commercial skills.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with valuations, variations, and cost reporting on live projects

*

Supporting the commercial team with subcontractor procurement and account management

*

Helping prepare interim applications, payment assessments, and final accounts

*

Working closely with site teams and project managers to track costs and variations

*

Maintaining commercial records and assisting with project cost control

Requirements

*

Experience in an Assistant QS or Graduate QS role within construction

*

Understanding of basic cost control and commercial processes

*

Good communication skills and ability to work with site teams and subcontractors

*

Organised approach with willingness to learn and develop
