Temporary Works Coordinator – Anglian Water

This multi-accredited and high-profile contractor delivers large-scale clean and waste water capital programmes for Anglian Water and offers a strong pipeline of AMP8 works as well as excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are actively seeking a Temporary Works Coordinator to join their delivery team in Colchester.
Your new role
As a Temporary Works Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role on the Anglian Water contract, overseeing temporary works from initial planning through to completion. You'll take responsibility for all aspects of temporary works coordination, including:
Conducting Category 1, 2 and 3 checks for Anglian Water and subcontractor sites.
Supporting the development of Category 0 Standard Solutions across the water division.
Reviewing Anglian Water procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
Delivering delegated activities from the C‑DI, ensuring consistency in Workbook One (Appointments) and Workbook Two (Project Registers).
Actively contributing to the Temporary Works Working Group, driving continuous improvement.
Preparing and checking a variety of temporary works designs, permits and third‑party requirements.
Providing technical support and advice to Design and Delivery teams.
Undertaking temporary works audits in line with company quality procedures and BS5975:2024.
Leading regular status meetings and supporting project progress through innovation and alternative working methods.This is a role where your expertise shapes safe delivery, efficient engineering and long‑term infrastructure resilience.
