Site Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major earthworks project based in Oxford. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a Site Engineer to work on a substantial earthworks package with a well-established civil engineering contractor.

The successful Site Engineer will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a large earthworks programme, including setting out, quality assurance, and coordination with site teams to ensure the earthworks activities are delivered safely and efficiently.

This role is ideal for a Site Engineer with proven experience delivering heavy earthworks on civil engineering or infrastructure projects. The Site Engineer will play a key role in managing day-to-day engineering duties across the earthworks package while ensuring works are completed in line with drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out and surveying for the earthworks package

QA documentation and record keeping

Working closely with the Site Engineer team and site management

Monitoring progress of earthworks operations

Ensuring works are delivered safely and to specification
