About the Company:
Our client is an established fit-out and refurbishment contractor delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across London.

Role Overview:
The Technical Coordinator will support the delivery of residential and mixed-use developments by coordinating design information, managing consultants and ensuring projects comply with planning, building regulations and technical standards.

The role acts as a key link between the design team, consultants, commercial team and site operations, ensuring that projects are technically compliant, buildable and delivered in line with programme.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate architectural, structural and MEP design information across projects.

* Liaise with architects, engineers and consultants to ensure designs are accurate and delivered on programme.

* Review drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with planning approvals and Building Regulations.

* Support the discharge of planning conditions and Building Control requirements.

* Provide technical support to site teams and assist in resolving design queries during construction.

* Maintain technical documentation, drawing registers and design approvals.

Skills & Experience:

* Experience working as a Technical Coordinator, Design Coordinator or similar within construction or residential development.

* Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the design process.

* Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple consultants.

Package:

* Day rate: £300–£400 (dependent on experience)

* Ongoing freelance contract

* Office-based in East London

* Working with an established contractor on high-profile projects
