Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 (depending on experience)

A well-established environmental consultancy is looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support projects across Basildon and the wider South East region.

The Role

* Conduct Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in line with HSG264 guidance
* Survey a range of commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties
* Identify and assess asbestos containing materials accurately
* Produce clear and compliant asbestos survey reports
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams on site
* Ensure all work complies with current legislation and HSE guidance

Requirements

* BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited consultancy
* Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations and industry guidance
* Ability to manage workload independently
* Good communication and report writing skills
* Full UK driving licence
