Document Controller

Job Title: Document Controller (Trimble Experience)
Location: London (Office-Based)
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an organised and detail focused Document Controller to join our London office. This is a fully office-based role supporting multiple construction and engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards, and maintaining accurate records across digital platforms, including Trimble.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage incoming and outgoing project documentation, including drawings, RFIs, and O&M manuals.

Maintain and update document registers and transmittals to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

*

Upload, monitor, and track project documents across Trimble and other systems.

*

Ensure compliance with internal and client document control standards and procedures.

*

Support project teams, site staff, and senior management with document requests.

*

Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other project documentation as required.

*

Coordinate with external stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and consultants, for document submissions and approvals.

*

Perform quality checks on documents before issue to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Document Controller within construction, engineering, or related industries.

*

Strong experience with Trimble (project management/document control modules) is essential.

*

Familiarity with other platforms such as Aconex, Viewpoint, Autodesk, or SharePoint is advantageous.

*

Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.

*

Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

*

Confident in supporting both office teams and project sites with documentation needs.
