My client is are a forward thinking, fast growing, multi-disciplinary construction firm, that specialises in the following disciplines:

This is a newly created role, supporting the commercial team, where you will support them with a range of different projects, across different sectors, which will give you good grounding and exposure.
This will be an office-based role based in Stratford, where you will be supporting two other Quantity Surveyors, including a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will be your line manager. This is a perfect opportunity to be mentored and gain valuable experience, with the expectation of progressing to an Assistant QS as the role matures.
Role Summary:
The Junior Quantity Surveyor supports the commercial and administrative functions of construction projects. The role involves assisting with cost management, procurement, documentation, and project coordination while developing core QS and contract administration skills.
Responsibilities include:

Cost estimation

Quantity take‑offs

Tender preparations

Contract administration

Document control

Communication with project stakeholders.
In addition, typical duties will include supporting budget calculations, project timeline management, and assisting with client relations. You may also be involved in supporting construction cost calculations, coordinating material deliveries, and managing project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
The role involves assisting the Quantity Surveyors with;
* Budget calculations and cost estimates for projects
* Performing quantity take‑offs to support cost planning
* Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and cost plans, and contribute to verifying variations and claims as part of commercial management.
* Supporting contract documentation and general contract administration
* Support procurement by gathering and comparing supplier quotations, tracking material deliveries
* Maintaining document control, organising RFIs and meeting records, interpreting project and architectural specifications, and supporting senior QS staff with communications and project updates.
Skills and Qualifications:

A RICS-accredited degree or similar (Or in the process of completing degree)
