Senior Technical Coordinator / Technical Manager – South London

A well-established London-based contractor and developer is seeking a Senior Technical Coordinator / Technical Manager to join the team on a major residential-led development in South London, incorporating residential buildings and commercial space.

You will lead the coordination of the design team, ensuring technical information is fully coordinated, buildable and compliant with current regulations. The role involves working closely with consultants, surveyors and site teams to manage the flow of design information and resolve technical issues throughout the project.

Part of the scheme falls within High-Risk Building (HRB) classification, therefore knowledge of Building Safety legislation and regulatory approvals is important.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the design development and consultant coordination

Oversee technical drawings, documentation and design programmes

Secure Building Regulations and statutory approvals

Work with site teams to resolve design queries

Mentor junior technical staff and monitor consultant deliverables
Requirements

Experience as a Senior Technical Coordinator or Technical Manager within residential or mixed-use development

Strong understanding of design management and building regulations

Knowledge of HRB / Building Safety requirements desirable
