Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to support an earthworks package based in Bishop Auckland. This is a short-term 4 week contract with an immediate start available and competitive day rates between £300–£400.

The successful Site Engineer will be responsible for setting out, ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications, and supporting the site team with daily engineering duties. This Site Engineer role will involve working closely with the project management team to maintain progress and quality standards throughout the programme.

The Site Engineer will manage surveying, QA checks, and maintain accurate site records while ensuring the earthworks package runs efficiently. We are looking for a Site Engineer who has strong setting out experience, ideally with previous earthworks or civils project exposure.
