The Company
Our client is a well-established and highly respected social housing refurbishment contractor with over 20 years of successful trading. With an annual turnover of circa £50m, they specialise in planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes for local authorities and housing associations across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and the award of new long-term contracts, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee a Kitchens & Bathrooms (K&B) programme in North West London.

The Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a social housing refurbishment programme involving kitchen and bathroom replacements within occupied properties. You will manage site operations, subcontractors, direct labour, and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality while maintaining strong relationships with residents and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations on a planned maintenance K&B programme.

*

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

*

Ensure works are completed in line with programme targets and client expectations.

*

Maintain strict health & safety compliance on site.

*

Carry out quality inspections and ensure works meet required standards.

*

Liaise with resident liaison officers to minimise disruption to tenants.

*

Provide regular progress updates to the Contracts Manager.

*

Ensure all documentation, reports, and site records are maintained.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing refurbishment.

*

Strong experience delivering Kitchen & Bathroom replacement programmes.

*

Experience working in occupied properties.

*

SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid certification.

*

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

*

Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme deadlines.
