Rail CEM – HV Power

Are you a competent CEM with a background in rail HV projects?
 
Have you worked complex traction power and rail HV electrification projects from a design engineering background?

Rate: £500 per day outside IR35
Location: Chatham, Kent, 4 days in the office per week

I am working with a well-established rail engineering business that is looking to appoint a CEM with HV E&P Engineering background. This role will play a key part in delivering a long-term pipeline of electrification and power projects across the rail network.
 
This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of technically challenging HV infrastructure projects while working alongside a well-established delivery team including design engineers, test and commissioning specialists, and project managers.
 
Essential Requirements
– Minimum 8 years' experience within rail HV electrification and power (E&P) engineering
– Strong HV substation or traction power experience
– Experience operating in a CEM role
– Project engineering experience across rail infrastructure schemes
– Strong understanding of rail engineering standards and compliance requirements
– Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously
 
Desirable Experience
– Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)
– Experience leading engineering teams or line management responsibilities
– Experience working for Tier 1 contractors or specialist traction power organisations
