Our client, a main contractor specializing in civil engineering, is looking to recruit a Quality Advisor to join their expanding team to work on projects throughout the North West. Quality Advisor Responsibilities:
* Promote good safety awareness and best practice in all work activities.
* Follow health and safety procedures and meet the business expectations for safety standards at all times.
* Observe site safety rules and adhere to them during all site visits and support activities.
* Maintain strong working relationships with clients and the supply chain where required, acting as a quality-focused point of contact for project-related matters.
* Advise project teams on relevant quality standards, client requirements and contractual quality expectations, ensuring these are understood and reflected in project delivery.
* Provide assurance and guidance to project teams in relation to project quality documentation and handover requirements.
* Support the completion and quality of project handover documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure PPE is maintained and used appropriately.
* Support site teams on quality matters and help them discharge their responsibilities effectively.
* Coach, advise and guide project teams through the quality support visit process and in the practical implementation of quality requirements on site.
* Support project teams in producing, reviewing and working to quality documentation, including quality plans and inspection and test plans.
Quality Advisor Requirements:
* Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent)
* Civil engineering experience
* Experience working for a medium to large sized civil engineering contractor
* Experience as a quality advisor
* Excellent communication and people and team management skills
