Civil Site Manager

We are a leading developer specializing in high-quality new build residential schemes across the South West. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to join our dynamic team and oversee projects in Somerset and Devon. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering innovative housing developments that enhance local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Oversee civil engineering aspects, including groundworks, drainage, roads, and infrastructure for new build residential sites.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain efficient workflows and resolve any on-site issues.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
Monitor progress against project timelines, reporting to senior management and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Foster a positive site culture, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager in civil engineering, ideally within new build residential or housing developments.
Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and a degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices in the residential sector.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and liaise with stakeholders.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across Somerset and Devon sites.
Residency in Central to North Devon is highly desirable for ease of commuting.
