Sprinkler Service Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sprinkler Service Engineer to join a growing fire protection contractor delivering commercial projects across London and the South East. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to work on a varied portfolio of commercial schemes, maintaining and servicing sprinkler systems to the highest standard. This position does not currently have an on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities

* Servicing, maintaining and repairing wet, dry, pre-action and deluge sprinkler systems on commercial projects

* Carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits in line with BS EN 12845 and LPC standards

* Fault finding and diagnosing issues on sprinkler installations

* Completing system testing and commissioning activities

* Responding to call outs and emergency breakdowns in a timely manner

* Completing all service reports, job sheets and certification accurately and on time

* Liaising with clients, facilities managers and building management teams on site

* Identifying and quoting for additional remedial works where required

* Ensuring all works are carried out in line with current health and safety legislation

* Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment at all times

* Managing van stock and ordering parts as required

* Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Sprinkler Service Engineer within a commercial environment

* Strong knowledge of BS EN 12845 and relevant fire protection standards

* Full UK driving licence

* Ability to work independently and manage own workload

* Strong communication and customer facing skills

Salary
£45,000-£50,000 Basic + Company Vehicle
