Our client is a well-established national player, with a reputation for delivering a wide range of professional water treatment and legionella compliance services to long-standing clients across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced and competent Water Hygiene Engineer to cover contracts across the SW / M4 region. The ideal applicant will hold previous experience working within the water industry either as a water hygiene engineer, environmental service technician or monitoring technician and will have a proven track record of delivering legionella compliance duties to ACOP L8 guidelines.
Consideration will be given to candidates based in Bristol, Taunton, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Swindon, Bath, Chippenham, Frome, Glastonbury, Weston-supe-Mare, Newport, Cwmbran, Cardiff, Hereford, Oxford, Banbury, Bridgend, Worcester and the surrounding areas.
Experience:
– Able to demonstrate experience carrying out L8 monitoring tasks.
– Good understanding of ACoP L8 guidelines.
– Confident in the use of computers and PDA devices.
– Professional and friendly personality.
Duties:
– Temperature monitoring on Hot and Cold-Water Systems.
– Water sampling.
– Showerhead cleans and disinfections.
– Carrying out works on calorifiers including inspections, flushing and temperature monitoring.
– Disinfections and chlorinations.
– Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
– TMV inspection, testing and servicing.
– CWST inspections.
– Representing the company in a professional manner on site and to clients.
