Senior Building Surveyor
A growing and well respected property consultancy is seeking a motivated building surveyor to join its London team. This opportunity is suited to a building surveyor looking to take ownership of client relationships while delivering a broad range of professional and project services. The successful building surveyor will work across commercial, retail, student accommodation and residential assets, gaining exposure to a strong and varied client portfolio. This building surveyor role offers direct client engagement, responsibility across projects and the chance for a building surveyor to develop within a focused consultancy environment.

The Senior Building Surveyor will join a small but experienced team and will have the opportunity to contribute to client growth while delivering key surveying services.
The Role
As the Senior Building Surveyor you will deliver a range of professional and project services across commercial property portfolios. The role will involve managing instructions independently while maintaining strong client communication.
The role will include:
* Dilapidations advice for both landlord and tenant
* Project design and contract administration
* Building surveys across a range of commercial assets
* Preparation of schedules of condition
* Monitoring tenant alterations
* Reinstatement cost assessments
* Project management duties including design and build projects
* Party wall matters where required
The Senior Building Surveyor?
You will be a motivated and commercially aware individual with strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage projects independently. This role requires a building surveyor who is comfortable working directly with clients and delivering a variety of instructions across different sectors.
The Senior Building Surveyor must have:
* At least 2 years' experience working as a Building Surveyor
* Experience delivering dilapidations and contract administration services
* Experience undertaking building surveys and preparing technical reports
* Ability to manage projects independently while maintaining client relationships
* Experience working with commercial property portfolios
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team
