Project Manager

A well regarded construction consultancy based in South London, known for delivering education and public sector construction frameworks, is seeking a Project Manager to join their established team. This Project Manager role offers the opportunity to manage meaningful construction projects including schools, colleges and civic developments across London.

This Project Manager position will see the Project Manager delivering construction projects typically between £5m and £35m, primarily across the education sector. The consultancy is highly respected within the construction consultancy market for managing complex construction programmes for local authorities and public sector clients. You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The 'Project Manager's' role

The Project Manager will manage construction delivery from feasibility through to completion.

Responsibilities include:

Acting as client-side Project Manager on education construction projects

Managing consultants and construction contractors

Overseeing construction programme and delivery milestones

Monitoring risk and reporting to public sector clients

Supporting construction procurement processes

The 'Project Manager'

The ideal Project Manager will have:

Experience working as a Project Manager within a construction consultancy

Degree in construction or project management

Working towards MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB

Experience delivering education or public sector construction projects
