Project Manager

A respected Newcastle construction consultancy, recognised for delivering university, healthcare and public sector construction projects, is seeking a Project Manager to join its expanding North East team.

This Project Manager role offers the opportunity to manage important regional construction developments including university campuses, research facilities and healthcare construction projects. The Project Manager will work on construction schemes typically ranging from £5m to £50m across the North East. You must prior construction consultancy experience as a Project Manager to be considered for this role.

The Project Manager will oversee construction delivery across public sector developments.

Responsibilities include:

Acting as client-side Project Manager

Managing construction consultants and contractors

Monitoring construction programme delivery

Leading stakeholder meetings with public sector clients

Managing construction risk and reporting

The consultancy is seeking a Project Manager with:

Experience working as a Project Manager within a construction consultancy

Degree in construction or project management

Working towards MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB

Experience delivering public sector construction projects
