Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Structural Site Manager to lead structural works on grade II listed building renovation.

We are looking for someone with previous experience on a similar project.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage structural aspects of Grade II listed building renovations

*

Ensure structural works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with conservation regulations

*

Coordinate structural engineers, subcontractors, and specialist trades

*

Interpret and implement structural drawings, specifications, and temporary works designs

*

Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality standards

*

Identify and resolve structural challenges on-site, including unforeseen issues common in heritage projects

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures

*

Liaise with architects, conservation officers, and project stakeholders

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering structural works on Grade II listed or heritage buildings

*

Strong knowledge of traditional construction methods and structural refurbishment techniques

*

Experience working with structural alterations, underpinning, and restoration of historic fabric

*

Excellent leadership and site management skills

*

Ability to read and interpret technical and structural drawings

*

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

*

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications required

*

Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent) preferred
