Site Manager – Social Housing Refurbishment
Chester & Stoke areas | Full-time

We’re currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a growing team delivering a large-scale social housing refurbishment programme across Chester and Stoke. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of site operations, leading teams and subcontractors to deliver high-quality internal and external refurbishment works.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. Working closely with site teams and subcontractors, you’ll play a key role in planning works, maintaining standards, and driving performance across a busy capital works programme.

Key Responsibilities

Lead site teams to deliver refurbishment projects safely and efficiently

*

Manage subcontractors and site resources

*

Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and environmental standards

*

Maintain accurate site records and documentation

*

Conduct site inductions and regular progress meetings

*

Drive quality, performance, and customer satisfaction

*

Support and develop site staff through coaching and leadership

What We’re Looking For

*

NVQ Level 4 / HNC (or equivalent)

*

SMSTS, First Aid & Scaffold Inspection

*

Proven experience in refurbishment (social housing preferred)

*

Strong knowledge of construction processes and H&S compliance

*

Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders

*

Full UK driving licence
