Location: Central London

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 + Package

Overview:
An established M&E contractor based in Central London is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step up, gain exposure to complex and high-value projects, and develop their technical and commercial skills within a supportive environment.
You will work closely with senior estimators and experienced professionals, contributing to tenders while continuing to build your knowledge across mechanical building services.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Mechanical Estimating team on a range of tenders
Assist in reviewing employer’s requirements and project specifications
Interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation
Carry out take-offs and measurements from mechanical drawings
Input data into estimating software
Issue enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors
Assist in analysing and comparing quotations
Contribute to the preparation of competitive tender submissions Requirements:

Experience as a Mechanical Estimator or Assistant/Junior Estimator within M&E / Building Services
Understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, pipework, public health, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good communication and organisational skills
Experience with estimating software is beneficial Benefits & Package:
