Concrete Finisher

The Role

We are currently working with a well-established contractor within the groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC frame) sector who are looking to appoint an experienced Concrete Finisher with concrete pumping experience to support ongoing and upcoming projects across London and the South East.

This is a hands-on role combining high-quality concrete finishing with the operation of concrete pumps on site.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out all aspects of concrete finishing including power floating, tamping and screeding

*

Assisting with and/or operating concrete pumps during pours

*

Working closely with site teams to ensure pours are completed safely and efficiently

*

Reading drawings and working to levels and tolerances

*

Ensuring high standards of finish on slabs, foundations and structural elements

*

Supporting with concrete placement, levelling and curing

*

Adhering to all health & safety procedures on site

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher within groundworks or RC frame projects

*

Valid CSCS Card

*

CPCS or NPORS Concrete Pump Operator Ticket (essential)

*

Experience working with boom or trailer mounted pumps

*

Ability to work from drawings and follow site instructions

*

Good understanding of concrete behaviour and finishing techniques

*

Reliable, hard-working and able to work as part of a team
