Your Day-to-Day as Assistant Quantity Surveyor
This is a true Assistant Quantity Surveyor role — you won’t just be supporting, you’ll take ownership of key commercial tasks:
• Procure materials and subcontract packages, negotiating prices and driving value.
• Support tendering, budgeting, valuations, and contract administration.
• Monitor costs, track variations, and assist in financial reporting across multiple projects.
• Liaise with site teams, project managers, and directors to maintain commercial efficiency.
• Build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
This role is perfect for an up-and-coming Quantity Surveyor looking to gain exposure to every aspect of commercial project management and procurement.

Requirements – What You Bring as Assistant Quantity Surveyor
• Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor in residential or commercial construction.
• Strong procurement, negotiation, and commercial awareness.
• Confident using Excel and other IT tools to support reporting and valuations.
• Proactive, sharp, and ready to take responsibility for commercial decisions.
