Land Surveyor (Full-Time)
South Wales Head Office (near Cardiff) – primarily covering projects across Wales

Key Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, strong topographic/land surveying skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence, have strong organisational and communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work safely on site while meeting project deadlines.
Experience using survey equipment such as GNSS, total stations, Trimble or Leica systems, as well as familiarity with survey processing software, would be advantageous.

The role will provide flexible survey support to our in-house engineering and survey teams, primarily across the Welsh catchment, with work based from our South Wales Head Office near Cardiff.
Our client are looking for someone who can take initiative, contribute to innovation and help deliver engineering solutions in challenging locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertaking land and topographic surveys using a variety of specialist survey equipment and technology
* Operating survey instruments such as GNSS, total stations and laser scanning equipment
* Producing accurate site records and specified survey deliverables
* Supporting the processing of survey data (desirable but not essential)
* Assisting in the preparation of survey drawings and outputs (desirable but not essential)
* Working across site locations, office environments and workshops as needed
* Supporting the development and training of engineers and trainees in survey equipment and data processing
Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a land surveying role
* Strong technical land surveying skills
* Relevant technical qualification (NVQ, HNC or equivalent)
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Strong planning, organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work safely on site, sometimes in remote environments
* Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
* Willingness to work in confined spaces when required (training will be provided)
* Full valid UK driving licence
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK
