Position: Full time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE)

The Opportunity

Solid Recruitment is representing a premium supplier of high-end wall and ceiling systems. Working with leading European manufacturers, they help architects and contractors bring ambitious design visions to life across the UK and Ireland.

We are looking for a technical, organized individual to join their team. You will be responsible for interpreting architectural drawings, preparing quotations, and managing diverse projects from initial inquiry through to final delivery.

The Role of Technical Estimator

This position perfectly blends technical estimating, project coordination, and client support.

* Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

* Prepare detailed panel schedules and material take-offs.

* Produce accurate quotations for contractors and architects.

* Liaise with manufacturing partners regarding technical queries.

* Coordinate delivery schedules and project timelines to ensure seamless execution.

About You

This role is ideal for someone coming from a drylining, ceilings, interior fit-out, joinery, or architectural background.

Skills Required for the Technical Estimator

* Proven ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.

* Solid understanding of construction detailing.

* Strong numerical and organizational skills.

* Experience preparing material schedules or take-offs.

* Proficiency in Excel and standard office software.

Experience in any of the following is highly desirable: Estimator, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Architectural Assistant, Technical Coordinator, or Project Coordinator within the construction/fit-out sector.
