The Assistant Project Manager's role
The Assistant Project Manager will support the delivery of residential and commercial projects across all RIBA stages. Working closely with senior team members, the Assistant Project Manager will assist in coordinating projects, managing documentation, and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will attend project meetings, liaise with clients and contractors, and help monitor programme and cost performance. The Assistant Project Manager will also support in risk management, reporting, and general project administration. This Assistant Project Manager role provides a strong foundation for developing technical and client-facing skills within a leading consultancy environment.
The Assistant Project Manager
The ideal Assistant Project Manager will have some experience within a construction consultancy or related environment and be eager to develop their career in project management. The Assistant Project Manager should be working towards a professional qualification such as MRICS, MCIOB, or MAPM.
Key requirements:
Experience in a project support or Assistant Project Manager role within the built environment
Exposure to residential or commercial projects
Working towards MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM or similar
Strong organisational and communication skills
Proactive and motivated approach to learning and development
Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline
