Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

Location: Bellshill

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a busy engineering services team based in Bellshill. The role will involve working from the office or on-site depending on project requirements, managing electrical installation projects across a range of sectors including Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Fit-Out.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organised professional to oversee projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and final handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee pre-construction design development and coordination.

Review and check design drawings, identifying opportunities for value engineering where possible.

*

Attend and contribute to progress meetings and design team meetings.

*

Prepare and monitor contract programmes and progress reports.

*

Manage the procurement of plant and materials in line with project specifications, drawings and cost plans.

*

Procure and manage subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme.

*

Prepare cost forecasts and record/manage project variations.

*

Oversee the commissioning process and ensure successful handover to the client.

Requirements

*

Minimum 5 years’ project management experience within the M&E / Building Services sector.

*

Good commercial awareness and understanding of project financial management.

*

Ability to create basic programmes using Asta or MS Project.

*

SMSTS or equivalent qualification.

*

BTEC HNC / HND in a relevant discipline is advantageous.

*

Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills
