Roof Slater

Bridge Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Roof Slater to join a client working on residential and private projects in the Haddington area.

This position can be offered on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Role Responsibilities

* Installation of natural slate roofing

* Cutting and fixing slate tiles

* Carrying out repairs and maintenance on pitched roofs

* Working safely at height

* Maintaining good workmanship and site standards

Requirements

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in slate roofing

* (Candidates with less experience may be considered if willing to learn and be trained)

* Ideally 3–4 years’ roofing experience

* Own transport preferred depending on location
