Location: Leicester-based (within commutable distance) with travel

Salary: Minimum £56,000 – £60,000 per annum

About Our Client: Our client is a thriving and expanding building services contractor, who tend to specialise in distribution centres, warehouses and factory units, often with attached offices. They handle a diverse range of projects, from large single units to multiple smaller units. Following a period of significant growth, our client anticipates an exceptionally busy future and is looking to expand their team with talented and experienced professionals.

The Opportunity: We are currently recruiting for 1-2 experienced Electrical Project Engineers/Managers to join our client's team. This role involves managing electrical projects from their Leicester office, with an expectation of traveling to project sites 3 days a week and working from the office 2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

Taking full ownership of projects from the design phase, collaborating closely with the in-house design team.

Managing all aspects of procurement, including material sourcing, and selection of sub-contractors.

*

Ensuring the successful and timely delivery of projects, including budget control.

*

Ensuring effective handover of projects including creation and delivery of any training and O&M manuals for completed projects.

* Providing on-site leadership and technical guidance to the site team as they need it.

The Ideal Candidate: Our client is ideally looking for experienced individuals with demonstrated experience in similar roles.

The successful candidate will possess:

Previous experience as an Electrical Project Engineer/Manager.

*

A strong electrical background, whether from progression from site-based roles or within previous management roles.

*

Electrical qualifications to ensure a deep understanding of the industry.

*

Current SMSTS certification or equivalent.

*

The ability to independently manage projects ranging in size from £300,000 to £2 million.

*

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Working Environment: Our client values collaboration and team cohesion, preferring team members to be primarily office-based. While occasional remote working may be accommodated, it is considered an exception rather than the rule.
