Key Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and maintain detailed construction programmes using industry-standard planning software (e.g., Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject)

Provide planning support across live projects, ensuring progress is tracked and reported effectively

*

Lead and contribute to tender planning, including programme development, logistics strategies, and phasing

*

Work closely with project teams to identify risks, opportunities, and critical path activities

*

Produce short-term and long-term programmes, reports, and progress updates

*

Support project teams with delay analysis and programme optimisation

*

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within a recognised main contractor

*

Strong track record of working on large-scale construction projects (e.g., £20m+)

*

Experience across sectors such as commercial, infrastructure, residential, or mixed-use developments

*

Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject

*

Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing

*

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

*

Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider project team
