Title: Commissioning Planning Engineer

Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

Support the IPC Lead Planner in the implementation and maintenance of Project Controls processes for Planning,

*

Support Senior Project/ Programme Managers

*

Collaborate with other Disciplines of Integrated Project Controls, as well as other Project Support Functions, to help deliver Project goals in keeping with the HPC principles of Trust, Transparency and Teamwork

*

Produce and maintain the schedule baseline IWS in Primavera 6 (P6), with fully logic-linked work plans aligned to the Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and utilising approved construction techniques.

*

Ensure the Level 2/4 IWS is updated to an agreed timeframe.

*

Assist in the Trend & Change process, including analysis at Project level, generating performance indicators and providing feedback on areas of risk and opportunities.

*

Identify, analyse and provide solutions to time-related issues.

*

Co-ordinate, verify and produce Project-level schedule reports to a defined reporting cycle, including commentary on key time-related drivers and performance issues

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

*

Proven relevant experience in a Project Management or Project Controls environment in a similar Scheduling role on a major construction project.

*

Substantial experience in the use of scheduling software, ideally Primavera P6 version 7 and above.

Experience of commercial contracting
