This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a respected M&E Building Services contractor delivering projects from small works to larger multi-million-pound installations.

The company is a well-established M&E Building Services contractor delivering technically strong mechanical and electrical installations across the commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and fit-out sectors. Known for their professional approach and high standards of project delivery, they maintain long-term relationships with both public and private sector clients.
Their projects include full electrical building services installations such as LV distribution, containment systems, lighting, small power, data infrastructure, and associated electrical services. The business has developed a strong reputation for delivering technically robust projects while maintaining a collaborative and supportive working environment for its project teams.
The Role
As Electrical Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical building services projects from contract award through procurement, installation, commissioning, and final handover.
Projects typically range from £100k through to larger multi-million-pound installations and include both new build and refurbishment works across the South Coast and surrounding regions.
You will manage multiple electrical projects concurrently, ensuring programme delivery, quality standards, and commercial performance are maintained while building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
This role would suit candidates currently working as: Electrical Project Manager, Senior Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager, or M&E Project Manager (Electrical bias).
Key Responsibilities
* Managing electrical building services projects from contract award through to completion
* Taking responsibility for programme delivery, quality standards, cost control, and overall project performance
* Procuring electrical plant, materials, and subcontract packages
* Managing electrical installations including LV distribution, containment systems, lighting, power, and associated electrical services
* Coordinating site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery
* Attending client meetings and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
* Supporting the commercial team in managing variations, valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts
* Ensuring all works are delivered in line with health and safety standards and company procedures
* Working closely with mechanical project teams to ensure coordinated M&E project delivery
About You
* Proven experience operating as an Electrical Project Manager within an Electrical or M&E Building Services contractor environment
* Strong track record delivering electrical building services projects from contract award through to completion
* Technically strong with a solid understanding of electrical installations within commercial building services environments
* Commercially aware and comfortable managing project budgets, variations, and programme delivery
* Confident managing multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high standards of delivery
* Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
