A renowned and trusted leader in UK construction, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to oversee the first phase of an ambitious £300m science park project in Long Ashton, Bristol. This is a rare opportunity to lead complex engineering operations on a high-profile development, collaborating with a talented team of professionals.
The successful candidate:
Take ownership of a major, landmark project from the ground up.
Lead and manage sub-contractors and engineering teams across multiple disciplines.
Collaborate directly with the design team to identify and resolve design challenges.
Flexible engagement: permanent (£55-70k) or freelance (£(Apply online only)/day, CIS or Ltd).
Role Responsibilities:
Oversee all on-site engineering, including groundworks, RC and steel frame erection.
Ensure design issues are proactively identified and resolved.
Manage teams of engineers, providing guidance and direction.
Report progress and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Candidate Requirements:
Engineering degree or HNC (or equivalent).
Demonstrable experience as a Senior Engineer on large-scale projects.
Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
Experience managing sub-contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
