A leading construction organisation is looking for an experienced Information Controller to join a major project team in London. You'll be part of a forward‑thinking digital environment where data quality, collaboration and efficient project delivery are central to success.
Your new role
As the Information Controller, you will take ownership of managing all project documentation and digital information throughout the full lifecycle of a high‑profile construction project. You'll be responsible for maintaining the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring data accuracy, and supporting key stakeholders in best practice information management.
Oversee the organisation and control of all project information, including documents, drawings and models.
Manage and maintain the project's CDE, ensuring alignment with ISO 19650, the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and company standards.
Monitor compliance with established information workflows and naming conventions.
Support the development and maintenance of the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP).
Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency across all information.
Work closely with Design Management and Digital Construction teams to develop robust project information structures.
Provide training and support to project teams, ensuring effective and consistent use of the CDE.
Facilitate smooth communication between internal teams, stakeholders, and clients.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in an Information Controller or Information Management role.
Experience working with Asite (highly desirable).
Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 and MIDP processes.
Excellent communication skills with the confidence to support and train others.
A proactive, detail‑focused approach and the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
