Freelance Building Surveyor

Location: London
Rate: £300–£350 per day
Duration: Minimum 2-week programme

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Building Surveyor to support an upcoming programme of PFI condition surveys across a portfolio of high schools in London.
Role OverviewYou will be responsible for carrying out detailed condition surveys on educational facilities, assessing building fabric and services, and reporting on asset condition in line with PFI requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct condition surveys of high school buildings
Assess and record the condition of building fabric and associated elements
Compile clear, accurate, and structured survey reports
Work efficiently across multiple sites within the programme timeframe
Ensure compliance with project scope and reporting standardsRequirements
Proven experience in building condition surveys, ideally within PFI environments
Background working in educational estates is highly desirable
Strong reporting and data capture skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Enhanced DBS certificate (essential)Additional Information
