The Company
We are working with a leading facilities management organisation that delivers integrated services across a number of high-profile retail portfolios in the UK. Due to continued growth and contract expansion, they are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee operations on a large, static retail site.
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for the delivery of FM services across a flagship retail environment. This is a site-based role, managing both hard and soft services, ensuring compliance, performance, and client satisfaction at all times.
You will act as the key point of contact for the client, leading on service delivery, commercial performance, and continuous improvement across the contract.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of facilities management services across the site
• Manage and develop on-site teams, including engineers, supervisors, and soft services staff
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the client and key stakeholders
• Ensure full compliance with all HSE, statutory, and contractual requirements
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and service performance, implementing improvements where needed
• Take ownership of the contract’s P&L, budgets, and financial performance
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring quality, cost control, and compliance
• Lead on reporting, audits, and performance reviews
• Drive a culture of high standards, safety, and customer service excellence
About You
• Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior FM role within the facilities management sector
• Strong background in retail environments (shopping centres, retail parks, or large stores preferred)
• Experience managing both hard and soft FM services
• Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and P&L
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Strong leadership and team management experience
• Good understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
