About the role:

This role involves working across various dynamic construction projects throughout London, ensuring robust health and safety practices are implemented and maintained. You will play a key role in fostering a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.

* Develop, implement, and review site-specific risk assessments and method statements.

* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, recommending effective corrective and preventative actions.

* Deliver comprehensive health and safety training and inductions to site personnel and contractors.

* Ensure strict adherence to all relevant UK health and safety legislation and company policies.

* Advise project teams and management on best practices for health, safety, and environmental protection.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date H&S records, reports, and documentation.

* Promote a positive and proactive health and safety culture across all operational sites.

* Assist in the development and continuous improvement of H&S management systems and procedures.

* Monitor and evaluate contractor health and safety performance

About You

* Our client are looking for a proactive and experienced Health & Safety professional ready to make a significant impact within a leading construction environment. You will be a confident communicator with a strong understanding of site operations and regulatory requirements.

* Proven mid-senior level experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within the construction sector.

* NEBOSH Construction Certificate or Diploma.

* Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and industry best practices.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

* Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.

* Proficiency in using H&S management systems and reporting tools
