Electrical Estimator

We are working with a privately owned MEP contractor who are looking to appoint an Electrical Estimator to join their Pre-Construction team. This is an excellent role for an experienced Building Services professional to join a well established yet growing business with big plans for the future.

They are a business who specialise in the delivery of MEP Services alongside leading contractors and blue-chip clients across a variety of sectors including Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Stadia and Residential. Project values range typically between £3-7m however they do deliver bigger schemes, one currently for £15m.

The culture is fantastic and the long security and very reassuring, they have increased their turnover this year by £13m and next year is set to be even busier.

Key responsibilities include:

* Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions

* Quantifying labour, materials, plant, and specialist subcontractor costs

* Reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations

* Attending site visits

* Interpreting specifications and drawings

* Identifying value engineering and cost-saving opportunities

* Supporting post-tender negotiations and project handovers

* Maintaining accurate estimating records and cost databases
