Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Beverley – Highways – £negotiable

Due to joining at the very beginning, this is a prime career opportunity to gain full exposure from set-up to completion as well as work alongside experienced QSs and gain hands-on commercial experience.

You’ll play a key supporting role across the commercial function, getting involved in: Subcontract procurement and management; Producing subcontract documentation; Assessing and processing payment applications; Cost reporting and forecasting; Monitoring project spend and external expenditure; Supporting the wider team in maintaining commercial control.

This is a role where you’ll be encouraged to learn quickly and take on responsibility as you develop.

This major blue chip contractor is looking for someone with experience in a commercial / AQS role (contractor or subcontractor background welcome) who has a proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn. NEC knowledge is a bonus, but not essential and highways experience is helpful, but not required
