Our client is an reputable, large-scale fit out main contractor who are involved in some of the most prestigious projects in the most sought-after parts of London. Our client has been established for over 40 years and have built up a world class reputation in the industry.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a challenging and rewarding role within a growing established organisation. We are looking for a confident and professional individual to join our highly reputable client.
 
They operate within the commercial, industrial and education sectors, with project values up to £50m – with a recent project recently going to site valued at over £100m!

Our client is recognised for their strong team ethic and their ‘people over profit’ approach to their work having been established for over 40 years. All the projects are in the South-East, including Central London and the work is varied and diverse; no two projects are ever the same, creating a challenging and highly rewarding work environment.
 
The team is a mixture of young professionals and more experienced staff across their offices and the work ethic is to enjoy what they do whilst building long lasting relationships with clients.

This role suits a Intermediate-level Quantity Surveyor or an experienced Assistant QS looking to step up – to support a busy commercial team within a growing fit-out contractor.

The Role:

You will be office-based, working alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor and supporting two Assistant Quantity Surveyors. This position is ideal for someone who can take ownership of their own workload and provide reliable support to the SQS on larger projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and managing take-offs
Assisting with and producing Bills of Quantities (BoQs)
Managing and tracking variations
Supporting commercial reporting and cost control
Working on large-scale fit-out contracts
Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a self-sufficient Quantity Surveying role
Background working with a main contractor or similar fit-out contractor
Strong understanding of commercial processes within fit-out projects
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Salary & Package:

Paying £60,000 – £70,000 (DOE)
Additional – Car or travel allowance, 25 days holiday, 3 days held back for Xmas.
