This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Building Control/Building Regulations Consultant to step into a high‑impact technical advisory position. This is not a plan checking role – it's a technical advisor/consultant post, working directly with design teams, architects, and clients to guide safe, compliant, and efficient design development. You'll act as a trusted authority on building regulations 👷♂️ while also supporting the commercial growth of the business. The role is fully remote and open to candidates anywhere in the UK. 🏢
🛠️ What You'll Be Doing
Leading complex building regulations compliance reviews and advanced plan assessments
Providing early-stage design advice to help de‑risk projects and influence safer, more efficient design outcomes
Working closely with architects, designers, and client teams to provide proactive safety‑led guidance that shapes the direction of the design
Acting as a key technical voice throughout project lifecycles, ensuring clarity, compliance, and practical solutions
Enhancing internal technical processes and supporting the development of junior team members
Identifying commercial opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to wider business growth🎯 What We're Looking For
Strong technical expertise in building regulations, ideally with a commercial or complex‑build focus
Confidence working autonomously and influencing design decisions at early stages
Strong commercial awareness and excellent client‑facing communication skills
An established network within building control/building regulations
