The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive environment where no two days are the same. You'll be involved in a wide range of residential developments, working closely with internal teams, consultants, and site teams to ensure projects move smoothly from planning through to construction.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Technical, you'll be responsible for coordinating the design and technical process across multiple developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate external consultants, architects, and engineers
Assist in the development and management of house type drawings
Secure Building Control approvals and discharge planning conditions
Ensure all statutory services and approvals are in place for site starts
Issue accurate and clear construction drawings
Manage and monitor technical information in line with project programmes
Support the preparation and presentation of design programmes
Attend site meetings and carry out site inspections
Respond to technical queries and resolve issues efficiently
Monitor professional fees and support cost control with the Commercial team
Assist with sales and marketing drawings including brochure and conveyance plans
Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate updates effectively
Prepare progress reports for internal and external stakeholders
Act as a key link between internal departments and external partners
What We're Looking For
Experience in residential construction (Technical Coordinator or similar role)
Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline
Strong understanding of Building Regulations and industry standards
Knowledge of housebuilding and/or apartment construction
Experience with NHBC and volume housebuilding (desirable)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
Full UK driving licence
