Location: Remote, with visits to Peterborough every 2 weeks
Rate: Up to £450 per day
Start Date: April
Duration: 12 month rolling contacts

We're looking for an experienced Project Planner to support several major AMP8 water infrastructure programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative alliance delivering large-scale water and environmental projects as part of AMP8.

You'll play a key role in driving programme performance, working closely with delivery teams to ensure projects are planned, monitored and delivered efficiently.

The Role

As Planner, you'll take ownership of project schedules, ensuring alignment with delivery objectives while identifying risks and opportunities early.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using Primavera P6 and MSP
Ensure plans reflect full scope, sequencing and resource allocation
Monitor progress against programme, focusing on critical path and milestones
Identify risks, delays and opportunities, driving mitigation strategies
Work closely with site, engineering and commercial teams to ensure programme accuracy
Support reporting and provide clear programme updates to stakeholders
Ensure compliance with planning standards and HSE requirements

Requirements

Proven experience as a Planner within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure
Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MSP)
Good understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycles
Ability to interpret drawings and technical information
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
