A well-established and growing organisation within the construction and social housing sector is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Warrington specialising in planned maintenance, refubrishment and fire protection works. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional looking to take ownership of projects while contributing to team development and business growth.

The Role

You will play a key role in protecting the commercial interests of the business while ensuring projects are delivered profitably and efficiently. Responsibilities will include:

Managing project costs and delivering accurate financial reporting (CVRs)

Preparing, reviewing, and pricing tenders

*

Monitoring WIP and ensuring profit targets are achieved

*

Building and maintaining strong client relationships

*

Supporting and developing junior and trainee surveyors

*

Maintaining a regular site presence to ensure accurate commercial oversight

*

Identifying and supporting new business opportunities

About You

*

BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

*

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role

*

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

*

Experience within social housing and planned works

*

Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical abilities

*

Familiarity with NEC and JCT/SBCC contracts (advantageous)

*

Proficient in MS Excel and measurement software

*

Motivated, ambitious, and keen to progress
